Justin and the (Food) Entrepreneurs Podcast Apperances

I recently had the privilege of joining Justin on Justin and the (Food) Entrepreneurs Podcast to share the latest updates on The Booch Witch, my ongoing journey as a kombucha education entrepreneur.

You can listen to the episode here:

Who is Justin Bizzarro? – Justin is a serial food, restaurant, technology, media and marketing entrepreneur, who helped build a 24-year-old group of food and restaurant-related businesses he created with his father and business partners out of his family’s basement, in 1998. He’s a highly sought-after expert, and he just so happened to be roommates with my husband, Eric, when Eric and I first started dating over twenty years ago.

It is no surprise to me Justin has such a successful podcast; he’s an incredibly friendly, authentic, fun, and smart person. He has always made me feel welcome – from 2003 to now. Thank you, Justin, for your friendship and support! And thank you for having me on your podcast!

A Full CIRCLE MOMENT

This wasn’t my first time on Justin’s podcast. In fact, my journey with Justin and the (Food) Entrepreneurs Podcast began five years ago, during a pivotal moment for The Booch Witch. Back then, I was just getting started—nurturing a vision, experimenting with my first class, beta products, and navigating the uncertainty of launching a business… especially right before the world changed dramatically with the onset of the pandemic.

If you’d like to revisit that conversation, you can find it here:

Listening back to that first episode, I’m reminded of how much has changed and how much I’ve grown. What began as a small, ambitious project has evolved into a brand that has reached a global market and audience; I didn’t expect that. I’m so proud of the growth of The Booch Witch and an aligned deeper commitment to wellness, sustainability, and connection.

Reflecting on the Journey

During this year’s episode, Justin and I talked about:

  • The Early Days: What it was like to launch The Booch Witch and find my footing as a side-hustle entrepreneur.
  • Lessons from the Pandemic: How adapting to challenges shaped the business and solidified my belief in resilience and creativity.
  • Community Building: The incredible people I’ve met along the way and how their support has fueled The Booch Witch’s growth.
  • What’s Next: My goals for the future, including new flavors, collaborations, and ways to engage with all of you.

Gratitude for the Journey

These conversations with Justin have given me a unique opportunity to reflect on how far The Booch Witch has come. It is important to pause and celebrate growth, and I’m deeply grateful for the chance to share this journey with all of you.

Your support—whether through listening to the podcast, attending a class, reading one of my blogs, ordering a scoby, or simply cheering me on—is what makes this work meaningful to me – thank you.

How Long Does My Scoby Live?

They say a healthy scoby is a happy scoby, and that happy scoby can brew you delicious kombucha for years to come! But with all the love you pour into your brewing process, a question might linger: how long does this symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeast REALLY last?
